50" DLP TV (Read Post - Needs Work)

My father in law gave me his 50" Samsung DLP TV. Shortly after I brought it home it started constantly changing channel down. The front panel lights up and the down button is highlighted. It’s not the remote (I pulled the batteries and it kept cycling channels), though you can interrupt it and keep it on a channel by giving it a real input from the remote. So essentially there is a ghost sitting in front of the TV holding their finger on the channel-down button.

It’s this one.

If you want to fuck with it come get it out of my garage. Everything else is fine.

open it up and disconnect the buttons from the front panel.
It’s probably just a ribbon cable or something.

I know you are retentive enough to disassemble. I will even pay you $0.14 to do so :slight_smile:
