See last month’s hot rod mag. They painted a car with rustoleum, and said they got their info from some mopar forum.
Cheap materials, but a shitload of labor.
Wow…kinda makes me want to try it on a pile of shit
It looks really good. Seems like a waste of time almost. Since I don’t have that kind of time to just spend weeks on painting a car. I might try it some day though
That’s really not a bad paint job, but yes, it’s a hell of a lot of work.
Hot Rod seemed to be pleased with the outcome as well.
I guess if a person has very little cash, but lots of time, it’s a good deal.
Were painting my buddies '95 hardbody in a couple weeks with rustoleum.
how about Goegre S.(daygo’s) blue truck!
that’s pretty damned good for $50!
I guess a $20 harbor freight spray gun would break the budget? No matter how bad you are at spraying, it would still be a hell of a lot easier! You could still sand and buff.
OLD BLUE! Took a couple trips to Carlise in it. Had to stop every 20 miles or so and add oil.
yup
Looks pretty good… But I’d still go for the BC/CC and spray.
