I met him at the barber shop when I was getting my hair cut… just got a new vette and said he put some stuff under the hood… not sure what the plate was though
lol,in a c6 he probably only has bolt-ons to achieve that.
I drove it before he had anything done to it, but I know 93dx–hatch got to drive it and the owner let him look under the hood after ‘mods.’ I forgot what was done, but the plate doesn’t lie.

You have to remember if you buy cars often and trade in soon you don’t lose that much.My 02 vette I Paid 44,300 after my GM discount I bought the car in Dec. Drove for a few weeks as it hadn’t snowed yet,Put back on the road in spring and drove until August and sold for 44,200.Granted I paid sales tax when I bought it but if I had a vette to trade in the sales tax would be minimum.You can easily(if you have a decent relationship w/ your dealer and I’m sure these guys do) drive a Vette for 2 yrs,beat the hell out of it Buy some decent used tires off ebay for 5-700 and trade it in on a new one and maybe lose 5-8K.When you figure that Most new cars you buy are going to depreciate the first few yrs anyway, it doesn’t really cost you that much more to drive the Vette other then the payment. I.E. There is an 2005 Red vette vert on ebay w/ less options then mine and 11K miles. The buy-it-now price is $51K and bidding is upto $46K.My car stickered at $61K and after my discount was $51K.

AAARRRGGHHHHHH I just typed 5mins and somehow deleted.O well.As far as G.C.,the shortened version my dad went on Tues to Buy a Vette,they said they would give GM discount.He said he had to talk to his son.We went back up there on Sat. to buy the car and they told up they “we’re just testing the waters to see if he was serious and we can’t give you the discount now”!!! I called *411 David Chev in NF. Please.Hello do you have a Comm. Ed. Vert Vette? You do,will you take GMS? You will, see you in 30Mins.Boy was that salesman maddddddd. Walked in to David Chev., yup that’s the one. $1K down ok and Cashiers check on Tuesday or Weds for the balance ok?Good. Picked up the car that next week.G.C.
