Monday night turned into a mess of last minute madness.
Dan and I had a shoot lined up but due to uncontrollable reasons it had to be postponed. Since I was already there we tried to see who else we could get on short notice, GermanPSI swung by with his fathers clean '66 Corvette we took a few quick shots of while waiting for the CBR to arrive that Dan found. By the time the bike got there we had about 10 minutes of useable light.
I took some video of the bike but its so grainy due to it being so dark out I’m not even going to upload it lol. The final blow was the cop pulling in front of my truck as we were leaving so he could ask us what we were doing…we managed to probably get the only cop that takes photos for fun in the area and ended up talking to him for a good 20 minutes. He even said Canon sucks. Good thing he had a gun.
That bike grows on me more and more every time I see it. I hope to see it out this year so I can see it in person too. It pushes the fine line of over the top and just right, and i love that in a builder… its totally my style!
The quality of shots themselves are spot on as always…
but the composition etc im not a fan of. I know its “rushed” as it wasnt a planned shoot or anything, but it feels very boring, I feel like the angles/position of the car etc are just all over the place.
Not the quality I usually see out of you even when you say it was a rushed or quick shoot. Might be the surroudning as well, nothing seems to mesh well
:dunno
You know im a huge fan of your shots and im hardly at your level but just being honest with you, which i know you ask for
Not saying their complete ass… just not the usual KBB I see. if they only had 5 minutes well then I completely understand, but usually whenever Jim says he rushed or did a quick shoot they still look amazing :lol
Car looks sweet, the pictures are sharp and dead on as always. Just the composition I don’t care for. I have all the respect in the world for Jim he knows that, i hound his ass constantly asking him questions. Just being honest is all.
