Motors been together for some time and I’ve been waiting on transmission parts. I don’t wanna wait anymore so il put the motor back In today and install the Trans whenever it’s ready.
I’m really missing this thing. Hope it all works out as planned.

still using stock balancer? all that satin black looks great
Friction plays a HUGE role in Torque and clamp load. If the OEM doesn’t call out lube you shouldn’t use it. Don’t be surprised if the bolt breaks, ie be careful next time.

I did not use oem bolts, I used studs for the heads and they say to use lube
Note to all. The Trans needs to be plugged in for the motor to test fire.
I got the motor installed and fully connected. Cranked the key and nothing. Lol. My buddy told me the computer won’t allow it to crank unless it sees the gear selector. Pushed the Trans under the truck and plugged it in. Turned the key and she fired right up.
No hesitation. Instant 45psi oil. No leaks or knocks or anything crazy. I let it run for a bit and seemed fine. Ran pretty well for one 02 sensor and two vacuum leaks. Got it up to temp. Seemed perfect. Slowly Brought rpm up to about 3k. Seems good.
Can’t wait to get everything buttoned up and see what it will do.
Heading to new era for an updated tune with the new setup this Wednesday.

Seems to be running good enough to beat Chokos Procharged race truck but lost to a bolt on 2015 mustang w 435 rwhp.
I havent made made it to the track yet but I will soon.

5.3 currently. stock block . stock trans, its a 2016 DI engine nothing special.

Seems to be running good w the new setup at 11 psi. It’s going to new era next week for max power. I’m hoping the weather holds off so I can get a couple runs in.
