this baby is in amazing condition its sorta the “family’s” car but i put most of the work into it to get it running again … new distributor, plugs ,plug wires starter, air filter, tried to restore the the single holey with the kit no luck its shot. but i can get it started 4 VERY GOOOD used white walls for some reason the pass side tire goes flat might just need a plug. so body is SOLID has 48,000 original miles, i toookk verrryyy goood care of this car has seat covers dash cover battery is an automatic new radiator DOES need coolent lines new master cylinder water pump << 5 or 6 yrs ago 3,000 OBO price flexable i do have many more pics to show hoow great of condition shes in. i would have REAAALLY loved to have restored it. its been garage kept for 2 or 3 winters

Intake, cam, exhaust, turbo and you can get some good power out of it. Look what people are doing with 90hp (stock) Civics these days.
There are performance parts available for Slant 6’s. I know Offenhauser makes an intake for them.

Myself… I would just throw a Magnum 5.9L in it with a carb and a 150 hit. That will surprise them enough. Drag radials on stock wheels with hub caps…
actually you cam make serious power with a turbo with the slant 6 ,they are a bomb proof motor , ill see if i can find it where someone did a slant 6 in a volare and made almost 500 at the wheels with stock internals and so on
i wanted to drop a worked all motor 318 manual trans in it, it had some complications running the carb is shit the bed i drove it for 2 or 3 months of college and its been ispected too
