my friend just recently bought a evga 750i FTW mobo, and i think his Ethernet port might be fried but im not sure. after installs it restarts and still doesn’t seem to be working but the light is lit on the I/O panel. but any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

what installs? the o/s, drivers, program? i have that same board and everything worked great outta the box. networking i had to install a driver for
If all else fails, its evga. Pretty much no questions asked RMA’s. They cross ship too I believe. Ive done a couple through them.
every thing else installs just fine, its just the network driver that doesnt seem to install
try uninstalling the network driver and re-installing it, then try to update the chipset drivers
ya that might work, but when he opens the network connections box all he has is his wireless there nothing for his lan
