damn, should have gotten ahold of me for parts, i could have gotten you alot better deal on the swap harness

looks like its coming together, and 100 bucks for windows is a steal, cheapest local company would do for me is 100 a window to take out and 100 to reinstall :frowning:

saxon-you had a eg k harness so i never thought of it.

deebo- i had tociko blues with skunk2 springs that rode like ass. so now its currently has agx with ground controls. sooner or later upgrade to full coilover set up or stiffer rated ground controls and koni yellows

Do you have pics with it with them on?
I have gr2s with lowering springs and im thinking about getting gc’s … or just ditching the setup all together. depending on budget.

gr2 are like stock shocks. the car is currently on the agx/gc in those pics, its just not slammed currently which it will be when the car is done. ( ground controls are coilovers)

i just had a setup with with gr2s and GC’s , but 2 of the struts blew out after like 15k miles

my plan is to keep it but after all said and done. ill post it up and see if theres any bitters. theres always the next dream project.

You think it’s a lot more worth it to do a K series swap over a bseries?

i got bored of all my b series, imo its nothing compared to a k. ever drove a stock type-s? i did a few times and also one that made 240 wheel n/a. now image that kind of reliable power on a car thats weigh much less. theres pro and cons of both. one mostly being the money issue with the k. if i had a eg/dc/ek i would do H2b.

depends what you want it for, if you want nice reliable na hp then absolutely, if you want to turbo it, then no

na builds hitting 250whp is very easy (even with mostly stock parts)

k24’s usually have as much tq as most b series have hp so that makes it really nice to drive it around w/o having to downshift or really beat on the car, and of course 6 speed trans is great (except with high hp known to break alot)

so for 200-300whp k>b
for 300-600whp b>k (only because price)

yea the plan would be just a stock swap for now, and then maybe in a year or two build the motor for boost. if i still have it by then… lol

I can probably swap in a B for less than 1200 into my eg

ya b are def cheap to swap, you can do a k swap for under 5,000 if your frugal
