got work done tonight.
i installed the motor to test fit clearance issue and mock up the motor mount bracket.
pics of my new welder and sparco seats
installing the motor from the top was easier than a d series (honda tuning mag rec. using a lift and installing motor from bottom)
driver side
passenger side bracket that needs to be welded. i tacked a few spots and will finish up after i remove the engine
this is where i banged the rear cross member with a BFH. ill do more just to be on the safe side
out the front windshield view. i also need to notch the rear cross member a little for the header clearance
maybe ill go buy some paint tomorrow

i also got to test fit the eg civic half rad
using the push style fan saves a ton of room

Be careful with those mounts…the rear mount on my b16 broke. Innovative mounts.
lets hope it doesn’t happen to me since i cant just go out and buy another brand like hasport because i have to reweld the tranny mount all over again.

im painting it myself unless someone can give me a really good deal since im too layz and know ill half ass it. right now i just want the damn car running so ill be moving on it quickly in the next few weeks
i can paint your sub frame and any control arms with my spray gun.i did my stuff with a tough high gloss black and it looks awesome.

so far just working on the engine bay and then putting it together. as for the interior, its going to be fully gutted and painted, a roll bar, bucket seat and a dash board. if i can find some decent door panels then thats all.
