'89 MazDUH B2200 Miss-fire...

…my beater has been missing a bit on me. It was pretty bad this morning. It seems to only happen when the truck has sat for a few days w/o starting (such as over this weekend). It’s basically a pretty bad miss/stutter and goes away after a few miles driving and doesn’t come back 'till the truck sits for a few days again.

I’m already planning your basic tune-up (plugs, wires, cap 'n rotor, set the timing etc. etc.) but I was wondering if anybody had other input. Such as known problems or common failures w/ the MazDUH 2.2L. Thanks.

10 bucks says your basic tune up cures it.

That’s what I’m figuring/hoping. I bought this thing for $500 bucks and have gotten a year out of it and saved over $1000 on ins. thanks to it. LoL.

But I think it was lucky to get an oil change every few years from its previous owner so the plugs/wires etc. are probably all older than dirt. Yet somehow it is still running (and running well other than this miss which goes away w/ some driving) at 180k.
