This morning, it was blazing fast at work. I go to lunch and at home, about half way through lunch it just slowed at certain sites, wouldn’t open others, and some worked fine.
I go back to the office, and we also have Cable service, and the same thing was going on.
I come home, still like that.
Anyone else experiencing this today?
yes. balls slow. at my parents’ in amherst and my house in buffalo.
Mine has been slower since they took over.

Last weekend it was down because someone cut a fiber optic line.
It is very frustrating but it may just be my computer, I have no clue.
I can’t even search on Autotrader but maybe their site is slow.?

Maybe one of the main DNS servers of the east coast is having issues?
As has hobowars and a bunch of other sites I’m going to today. Linksys.com too.

Mine has been bad quite a bit for the past couple weeks. In fact, I’ve had problems with pretty much everything since TW took over.

My shit was awful around 1-2pm today.
thats one thing i can agree on… if i’m downloading a torrent it runs at about 350kb/s… surfing the net… sucks. (no i’m not running the torrent and surfing) and it’s still that bad.
yea i had problems updating my Ad-Aware definitions earlier. i figured it was something with time warner
Mine has been a total sketchball since TW took over.
It constantly cuts in and out real quickly (like, my AIM signs off and on quite regularly very quickly), and has generally run slower overall.
im paying $57.95 for my internet…premium too…they better get this internet jumpin
Well the torrents are gonna throttle down your connection, but they dont require DNS resolving. I dont think it had anything to do with DNS though, AIM was slow too, I dont know the exact process that sign-on requires but I dont think it requires DNS.
