Are these cars difficult to maintain or farely easy?
Does it cost a lot of money to get these cars on the road and keep them running?
no most of the parts are interchangable with the 240sx and theres also a lot more sr20s and silvias flowing in the city now so parts shouldnt be hard to find. the sr20 is like the B16 nowadays.
yea you will have no issues maintaining. Plus as long as you take care of it, it is a very reliable car.
If you do plan on driving it through out the winter you might want to under coat the car. Otherwise its just like any other vehicle.
you did not just make that comparison
It depends how you drive your car and the initial condition. Routine maintenance such as oil changes and tuneups are no different than a regular turbocharged car and all the common parts are readily available. If you start to modify your car as well as drive it fairly hard you might run into problems sourcing replacement parts and it could be quite costly , so if you plan to get one of these vehicles make sure you have the cash aside to take care of it properly .
And if you blow one up, you can swap one out in a day for like $2200.
A day???
Try 5 hours ish if you have everything there. Only took me by myself 1.5 hours to remove it except for flavio bringing the hoist
