And Corey, I hate to say it, but a GM buyout of Proton, would harldy be a bad thing for Lotus. They have the financial backing that a small company like Lotus would need. Proton…ehh.
This wouldn’t be the first time Lotus was owned by GM either. Last time was from roughly 85-95, and it proved to be a very good time for Lotus Cars. If they buy Lotus, and just keep them afloat financially, with the occasional parts bin access, then that can’t be worse than Proton owning them outright.
