Semi-thread jack but don’t you think riding the limiter was the core root of the problem, as opposed to the actual combo? I don’t know Honda stuff that well, but a lot of (if not all) factory limiters are fuel-cut not spark-cut (for emissions reasons, can’t go dumping raw fuel if you spark-cut) and can lean to a brief extremely lean condition. Running on the limiter you wouldn’t have lifted so I presume this would not have triggered the BOV to relieve the boost either.
It doesn’t seem like “360whp and 7200prm” cracked ring lands, it seemed like ridding out the 1/4 on the limiter did.
