Those are my buddy austins crx rims but yeah he still got them. Ive been dying to get to the track but i gotta work tomorow, might try to hit up PRP for test n tune. I just sold my daily so the hatch has gotten driven everyday this weeks and is treating me good so far :). My dumptube broke off the flange so im gonna have to stop up Jeffs soon. Also may throw a muffler on it because 3 inch is pretty loud everyday haha.
Semi-thread jack but don’t you think riding the limiter was the core root of the problem, as opposed to the actual combo? I don’t know Honda stuff that well, but a lot of (if not all) factory limiters are fuel-cut not spark-cut (for emissions reasons, can’t go dumping raw fuel if you spark-cut) and can lean to a brief extremely lean condition. Running on the limiter you wouldn’t have lifted so I presume this would not have triggered the BOV to relieve the boost either.
It doesn’t seem like “360whp and 7200prm” cracked ring lands, it seemed like ridding out the 1/4 on the limiter did.

Possibly. lol. I dont know though. I am on the rev limiter in my drag car untill 3rd spinning bad. It hasent really seem to hurt anything yet.
Everyones car that tune are assholes,(well most) and bounce the rev limiter in 5th gear with no effects.
Mustang has gone 60 miles since last inspection… July of 07.

heyy guys been a while since ive updated this…but just wanted to let everyone know im building a N/A b20-vtec for my white hatch…so the black one has been gettn daily driven for the last month. Running like a champ but 3 inch straight pipe is getting old fast haha. Cant wait to hit PRP this year. Anyway got some pics of the b20 for my white hatch and also some new pics of the black one. The b20 is fully balanced with RS machine ITR pistons, fully reconditioned rods with ARP bolts, Clevite bearings, ACT 4 puck clutch, B16 head with toda springs and retainers mild port and spec b cams. Just waiting on machine shop for head, should be back on the road next week :).
