Why would you want to do a 5.0 over an LS? My buddy’s DD LS1/4L60E FC goes mid 10s on the motor with all CA legal parts, and went 9s on (clearly not CA legal) spray.

I have time too decided what motor and what setup im gonna run…in all honesty, the rotary blows up…i have a turbo and all the shit for it…something about a 5.0 with a turbo, plus, my little bro has a 5.0 we cant get to run, think the aftermarket chip is fried, but were not sure…so…i have a donar car…
either way, the work is gonna be cake, just hear the wiring is a bitch and a half…
So probably about the most dissapointing thing in my entire life happend today.
I took off work thursday, had off friday, and between those two days I put 25 hours into the car of straight work. Me being an idiot shut the hood with the fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and cracked it. Fuck.
That’s not the dissapointing part. As i’m leaving today to head to my parents in which would have been the ‘maden’ drive. I get a stop light with a bright orange lambo mucierlago. Seriously… that’s never happend in my entire life, i’m sitting there with all 185 hp of fury in my audi.
all that room to roam and no horses to let loose… :greddy2:

Basically I couldnt be more dissapointed with these pictures, it looks so damn good in person.
I have to raise the front end up, tire is tucked in the wheel well. I couldnt even get the jack out without bricks under it.
Oh also everythign is extremely dusty.

This weekend i’ll get her all cleaned up and take some nice pics outside of my garage. I can’t take any straight on shots because i have a massive pole that gets in the way.
This is provided I get my fuel rails in time. It’s really the only thing that is preventing me from driving it right now. I still have some minor issues/interior stuff that needs to be cleaned up a lot, but for the most part its 99% done.

No pics yet, however I did drive it this weekend.
Had a lot of cooling issues. Friday I had a faulty expansion tank cap and was spewing fluid after 10 minutes of driving.
Saturday i tried to go on a 50 minute drive from avalon to lower burrell. I got stuck in traffic on 28 and I started to overheat. Pulled over let it cool for 20 minutes, got back on and it overheated and i parked it in harmerville. My buddy that was following picked me up and took me to my hockey game.
Anyway I got my fans working today, I was going to take it to get inspected and take some pics tomorrow but its supposed to rain mon-wed. I had the wiring wrong.

Haha I had a crowd at the gas station on saturday. People are just like wtf is that thing!
I’m pretty sure the only thing on that will say Rx7 or Mazda are the plastic door sills, which aren’t even on the car yet. Really I should sand the logo off so it won’t have any kind of identification on it at all.
I think leaving the rx-7 badge on the back would be funny
