car is a 95 honda civic LX 1.5 16v. did the timing belt on it last night and now it wont start.:wtf was in correct time. Fuses seem to be all good. only things i disconnected where the cruise box and plug wires. has aftermarket security system in it too. tried pulling the fuses to see if that had any affect. nada. now im confused and starting to get really pissed off…:banghead

Start with the typical.
See if the fuel pump primes, on D series you can usually hear the lines pressurise when the hood is open in the bay.
Check for spart but pulling a plug out and putting it up against the block and cranking.
Does it just crank and nothing? Does it sputter?
i can hear the pump priming and the muffler stinking like gas after constant cranking. tried checking spark but cant really see it from inside the car. i have batt voltage going to the dist with key on. cranks, no sputter.
Get another person to help you with the spark.
If you’re getting fuel and spark, you’ll be going back to timing as the issue.

Have sseamoose check your headlight fluids. And do you have summer air in the tires still? I have nothing to offer.

What was it?
it was a corrosion factory inside the dizzy, coil was covered in fuzz. i had a spare one at the house so we went and grabbed it. all better.
