This swap was pulled from a running and driving car. It burned a bit of oil when VTEC KICKED IN YO but ran great no smoke knock etc. It probably has around 120,000 miles on it right now, and is completely stock. I was planning on rebuilding it, but if you want to slap a new belt and tensioner on it and time it, it should be just fine
CW00ek a loosened the timing belt tensioner to try to take the crank pulley for his other Gsr Block, so that will need to be replaced.*The flywheel is still attached, and the bottom end turns freely
Too bad I won’t give him his asking price, I kno what he paid for the engine. I really want this tho put the car back to its former days and the problem with my car is the fuel pump won’t prime, had nothing to do with the engine. Glws tho jam. If I have a change of heart I will let you kno.
What I paid for just the motor (I’m assuming Checko told you) really has nothing to do with my asking price. Asking price I feel is fair market value for a known good obd2 swap with ecu and harness for any obd2 ek. Also, it’s best offer, if someone came to me with less in cash I def would say yes. X2. I just bought a vtec head for a fair price and i knew what he paid for it (half what i gave him, and he kept the $$$ cams too). What someone else paid for it meant nothing to me, as long as i got it for a fair price.
