Ok, interior is stripped down to the dashboard, torque tube is disconnected and just needs to be pulled out tomorrow. I tried something new and dropped the entire rear end as one piece. Trailing arms, coilovers, subframe, subframe connectors, transaxle, etc etc. Photos basically speak for themselves. Transaxle is getting crated up and sent to Kansas City. Torque tube I’ll be rebuilding and putting back in, also adding a Lindsey 3 piece front crossmember, GT3 seats, and a 6 point custom cage with an access panel in the rear to help with transaxle/suspension changes and smooth out airflow in the rear to the underbody aero piece. More photos to come!
The bimmer project is progressing, more photos on that in a few weeks (hopefully). I had a bit of a mishap with the new headwork so that’s been delayed, and I wont goto the machine shop without it. Once the bimmer is well on it’s way the porsche will be gone.
