hey…was that you i saw at the gay bar today?

lol, they are Cassie’s (Silver) I’m just painting them for her. They go on a purple boxster

I never said they were MY new track wheels, just NEW track wheels.

  1. I painted the center, thank you very much… I’m quite proud by how that came out… I worked hard, and considering it was my first time doing it…
  2. It’s not f’in purple! I hate you.
  3. Okay, not really, but f you anyway

wtf? she even posted they were hers. i’m retarded.

so that wasn’t you i saw at the gay bar then? :hay:

lol… definitely not.

are you going dual fuel pumps mike? Id be interested to how you hooked it up since I might have to in the future :snky:

Nope, dual pickups from the cell through the Aeromotive -8, -8 -10 Y adaptor to the Aeromotive fuel filter, to the Aeromotive Fuel pump -8 all the way to the rail. Between Aeromotive and Aeroquip I’m a whore.

ahhh ok well i would be interested to know how much line etc you use since I might redo my system just because :stuck_out_tongue: and I hate the stupid fuel filter how hard it is to get to. Some good news though I got my SMT6, new MAF, and my 72# injecters just need to wire in that SMT6

Fuel system cost me a hair over $1k minus the damper, rail and regulator which I already had. So budget just under $2k for an identical setup, or knock $300 off that if you use the stock tank.

Fuel system looks great Mike. I remember doing mine… what a PITA to put the fittings on the line. And the cost of those fittings is just crazy!

Looking forward to seeing your new beast run at the track day. Just don’t go to any drag strips before then

I’m 100% blaming you for that.

Btw, I’m not using stainless line, using the socketless Aeroquip stuff 10x easier, with all the benifits and about $.50 a foot cheaper.

I used the socketless aeroquip, never had a single leak, and it is very easy to work with. Good luck mike!

any updates

Wiring is finished minus a few connectors, fuel cell, 10 or 12 point rear cage work (not doing anything forward of the B pillars till next winter), and floor are being installed this week, engine is together and just waiting on me to finish the fuel system when I get it back. So no, not really.

Detachable floor w/Zeus Fasteners installed, fuel cell in, rear cage work in. There is also a bunch of frame connections and bracing below the floor, but I still have plenty of access to the transaxle. We’re planning out the front stuff right now. I’m hoping to debut this car at the Maxton Monster Mile next spring. I’ve already sold the NA motor and this thread will likely taper off till Fall when the Turbo motor sees some real progress as the rest of the car is mostly done and I’m vacationing and moving over the next two months. I will get some more detailed pics of the work and a writeup on the cage and my positive experiences with ProCar performance later this week.

Cage looks awesome. Sad to hear that we wont see the Pcar this year… boooo. Cage looks great though! Nice work.

Thats a lot of cage!

boys and girls, that is what we like to call a cage. wow that is alot of fuel cell. 22? 24?

20, but it needs to be installed a ton lower and I might go down to a 12. Stocker was 22+ The rear frame rail attachments need to be addressed too (the bends are a bit of a no-no).
