yes turbo, would the valves(head damage) be the only damage areas, plus the timing belt?
possibly have to polish knicks out of the pistons

Right on the money again… Its not a cheap date, valves and guides are most likely damaged severely, best bet is to get a new/functional head and possibly new pistons or mabye you can get away with sanding down the knicks in the piston tops.
pull the head off and inspect the damage. take pictures and post em.
