A/C system discharge...

Looking to remove the Air conditioning system from my Miata in the near future.

The system needs to be discharged and all refrigerant removed before I start tearing out all the lines and associated parts.

Any one on NYSpeed have any contacts or know of any shops that can do this? Figured I’d ask here before calling around. Would like to have it done this week if possible.

I always just took a old fitting with a tube and screwed it onto the high pressure line. What’s a little more bad in the environment

I am no tree-hugger or super environmentalist but I will not drain it into the earth.

If I can take this to a local shop, pay them what it takes to remove the Freon, I’ll drive home happy by doing my good deed for that day.

I can do it at my house, I can reclaim it. I do HVAC
