A fully loaded Accord is a good deal.

No.

S2k = RWD

The ridgeline and SUVs are also a mix of different configurations

Oh yeah the S2000, duh, I forgot.
No awd cars though?
WTF are they waiting for?

The ridgeline, element, and CRV are 4WD, and they’ve made AWD cars in the past. The RL comes with SH-AWD, and the MDX and RDX are 4WD too

weren’t they gonna make the tsx or something in awd?

sorry I’m not up on my new hondas by any means

See above.

all the honda fags are gonna say honda all us nissan fags will say nissan and so on with mazda toyota …and drdos…ur prob not gonna race it anyways…theyre all very nice just pick which is a more comfortable fit

2006 4 door Honda Civic Hybrid with Navigation >*

has alot of room in it

gets like 49/51 mpg

MSRP: $23,350

and i dont care what anyone says, i think the new look is hot

ewww :barf: I think it looks hideous

they are all over the place here on the West Coast. I didnt realize that the loaded out civic was only 23k. Now that is a bargain.

at 23k, its a pretty good deal, but prices a lot higher then it did 5 years ago. No longer just an economy car anymore… I did see one at work today that was a NEW EX navigation with auto tranny for 21k, but it didn’t have leather. 2 door is a lot hotter though.

ehhh… dont get me wrong… nice car and all, but not 30K nice (IMHO)

has some nice features but can be done cheeper I’d think. For 30K I think I’d be looking at some luxo cruisers

ok - I’ll bite.

What would you consider buying for 30k that is comparable to what you would get in an accord (ie same features and similar size).

and what price point do you believe the accord should be at if you don’t think its worth 30k?

Like I said… I think it’s a nice car and has some nice options but I guess I should have stated, that I personally wouldnt buy one for 30K.

yeah, so it has a nav. system… its cool and all, but now a days almost everything can be had with a nav. system. I dont know… 30K is alot of money and Accord doesnt jump out at me as something I’d like to spend that much cash on (no offense to honda peeps). I mean, it’s like a polished up/hyped up economy car…

there are alot of cars out there that can be had in the same price range and size that that are similarly equipped. hell, look at a car and driver (or the interweb for that matter)… I dont know, everyone has their opinions and thats mine

You said luxo cruisers earlier…what “luxo cruiser” can you get for the same price as this accord?

I dont know man… I can keep going, but you get the idea… theres lot of cars out there in that price range

jaguar x-types start at 32k

Infiniti G35’s start at 31K

Fully loaded Camry’s are under 30K

My dad picked up an 06’ grandprix GT (which now has the GTP motor), loaded with leather, moonroof, naviagiton, premium sound, bling rims, etc for under 30k

THe A4 is in there too I think

montego / fusion

THere are others, but lots of options.

 zackly

X-Type - More money less features and a worse performer

G35 - More money, when loaded comparably to the accord your close to 40k

Camry - less features and well, its not a “luxo cruiser”

Grandprix- well we know thats not a “luxo cruiser” and well its got a GM interior

A4 - At the same price range it has NO FEATURES!

I didn’t say there weren’t options at that price range, just not “luxo cruiser” options. 10 years ago 30g got you into a decently equipped luxury brand car. It doesn’t now.

“I didn’t say there weren’t options at that price range, just not “luxo cruiser” options. 10 years ago 30g got you into a decently equipped luxury brand car. It doesn’t now.”

I agree
Point noted

I guess just for the sake of comparing, the accord isn’t a luxury car either, so lets compare with that in mind. I’m only comparing on a competitive level of what car you’re getting for the money…

These are cars that are in the same competitive market as the Accord for one reason or another. Which I guess brings it down to what the driver is looking for. For me personally, I would pick up a 1-2 year old hot luxury car over a new accord. Someone else may want the accord.

However all that being said, there are a lot of different directions you can go for 30K

yeah you might be able to get something simular for $30k

But How many times to I have to mention RESALE VALUE

if you buy a ford, for $30k it will only be worth 15 in 2 years after 5 years it wont be worth anywhere near what a 5 year old accord will be

Honda reliability + RESALE = Honda FTW
