Pectel/Pi Research is Cosworth’s sister company, so you know its good shit.

JWT has a better solution out there that still allows OBDII cars to remain NYS compliant for safety inspection.

would this fail in NY? Cali?

The Cosworth setup would fail because it will not set readiness codes

D’oh! you think theyll fix that? cuz it said that particular ones is being made for north america.

Doubtful - too $$$ to make stand alone that is SMOG/OBDII compliant.

Is it a nice item to have in a scooby though? Cosworth makes some amazing stuffs.

It’s nice if there weren’t better solutions out there.

theres enough stand alone systems out right now that work for the subarus… hydra, pectel, aem, etc… that one isnt really better than the others… they all do virtually the same thing. the problem with ALL of them is that they dont set readiness codes so your car better be able to pass obd2 inspections on the stock ecu every year. i personally dont want to pay 2500$ for something like a hydra nemesis stand alone and not be able to use it.

pectel makes a lot of race car electronics, mostly data acquisition. the stuff is top knotch. their ems systems are not geared towards street cars though, but rather geared towards race cars.

Down in Australia a lot of Subaru owners use Autronic or Link in their street cars.

well you’d have nothing to use it on to start with so I guess it’s a moot point.

says who :ninja

Your bank account and credit report.

:stfu what are ya gonna do make a go cart out of it :nana

If you keep lobbing hanging curveballs, Benny and Cossey will be there to hit them outta the park.
