The war on terror is gay, more people die in car accidents in one year than have died from 9/11, Pearl Harbor, Katrina, Bucky,the Bike Path Rapist, and all other terrorist attacks on U.S. soil in the last 100 years . Combined.

Are we spending the Hundreds of Billions of dollars on vehicle safety, highway improvements, and traffic enforcement? If the government put as much effort into automotive safety as they do inspecting my stinky shoes at the airport they could save tens of thousands of American lives.

You are right. But a car crash is a accident most of the time.

You lose a aircraft of 130+ innocent families and kids… thats just on a different level. People are not afraid to leave their homes because of traffic accidents. Talk to some of the people that survived the IRA subway, bus, and restaurant bombings in England. That shit is on a entirely different level. It creates a sense of panic and hysteria in people. Most dont handle that type of stress well and it leads to more chaos. Either way… apples to oranges … regardless of final numbers.
