i am seriously debating walking out of work, and going to this. i have a new job which i can start at any point in the next 2 weeks, and my current job fucking blows and my boss is an asshole! so i may show up.
did you actually show up?
heard thsi sucked by a few people
Must be from some idiots, because I thought it was cool. A lot of good people there too.
I’d like to hear what sucked about it, other than the long waits during the day.
I thought this wasnt a MoHud event?
a few friends of mine were there and said it was lame .he got in trouble for unintentionaly driftin ,long wates ,and so on
Long waits should have been expected. 70 cars and one peron on the track. evn say everyone took exactly 1 min. thats 1hr 10min til next race
unintentionally drifting???
yeah, but somehow I felt like I was waiting around even more than a MoHud event. Even given that it wasn’t bad considering they hadn’t run an event like this in 40yrs.
I assume you are talking about Ben? There was nothing unintentional about the drifting. I saw him get a talking to after his first run, of course that was after he cleared out a wall of cones and lost his rear bumper. I’ve seen him drift an autox before and this was not up to his normal standard. The course was not ideal for drifting, the gates were too close together to get stuff linked together.
the drift guys were mad because they could not come knock all the cones off the track drifting. I under stand there good drivers and great drifters but its a auto x with not alot of track help. noone wanted to wait 15min for all the cones to be put back up
thats understandable right ?
my runs were 56 seconds :)lol awsome event i got to open my car up and throw it in the turns with out speeding tickets it was a great day
showoff!! lol
how was the speed on this compared to an average mohud event (they all seem to be relatively the same)?
i hit a little over 100mph on the rear streach video’s will be on here soon
damn that ain’t bad for an auto x
yes ,i know ben and dempsey very well
Guys,
One of the reasons for a seemingly long wait between runs was that none of you had to work all day! When’s the last time that happened at an autocross? Maybe you guys need something to do next time. Wanna reset pylons?
Thanks for the kind words Jeremy. At just 56 seconds you were flying my man!

A pic from the grandstands. When’s the last time you had a grand stand to sit in at an autocross?
