A new level of ignorance.....

thats why i laugh when people say “lady driven” when selling a car
women never change oil on time and all ways hop curbs etc etc
there are gear head chicks i know but for the most part lady driven is a bad thing…

Especially when they’re in tanks trying to end your existence while on 2 wheels.

There is nothing centering it without the lug nuts on, it’s just rotated counter clockwise a little.

I’ve dealt with pad material falling off the backing plates and that makes the most ungodly noise. Like you are inside a jet engine, I can’t imagine what this sounds/feels like. This isn’t surprising at all though. I actually saw a front caliper that did nothing at all once. The rotor was almost completely cracked all the way around the hat, which does happen sometimes when beating old rotors with a sledge hammer, but this was someone that was just driving the car like this. Pads were gone and the contact area of the rotor was at an angle and completely rusted from nothing touching them. I would guess the car pulled a little while braking haha.

This car looks like it needs a tie rod too.

I realize the lugs would center the rotor but if you look at the holes at 11:00 & 4:00 there seems to be no way you could center the holes on the studs. Just sayin.

never mind the fact that the machine work on the rotor extends way past the where the pad contacts the rotor. Or the fact that there isn’t rusted metal dust all over everything… its a phony!!!

Apparently it’s an epidemic now. >_<

A coworker just came in and told me he dropped his car off at the dealer because the low tire pressure light came on.

Didn’t check the tire, just drove straight to the dealer and dropped it off. :picard:

Pics of large breasted blonde coworker?

The one TrueBlue posted I can believe. While I’m sure this has happened, the first one looks like it was machined down. It’s so perfectly even and carved. Especially the center hat.

But anyways… It’s amazing how oblivious some people are when it comes to their cars and it’s maintenance. My brother drives his car so wildly… He is so hard on his brakes and always wonders why his brakes wear so fast.

Coworker is a dude. I’d revoke is man card but I took it away years ago for other violations.

lol is this the same guy who tied his drop line to his gas meter by any chance?

WTF!!! How do you not realize you have brake problems that need to be looked at the second the one side wears off. This just baffles me.

Different coworker. EDIT: PS… good job even remembering that thread

Ugh… man I work with a lot of idiots.

HAHAHAHAHHA

This came in. Customer states “I think my transmission is going”

My other favorite " my power steering resivoir is leaking"

Came across this post on G8Board awhile ago,

Unbelievable…

OEM as in never replaced.

No, that is normal GM fitment with aftermarket parts. Some times you have to literally pound on the rotor to get it off…THATs good for the studs.
