A promotional video for Imagine RIT (won $3,000)

Our office spent the past few weeks designing and filming this short video to help promote this years Imagine RIT festival for May 2nd. So far, people have really liked it. Check it out!

Around 3,000 dominoes fall in the video. And yes, it took a few tries to get it perfect http://roclife.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif

Pretty cool, not surprised this is an RIT thing

That is awesome.

Lol printer FTW!

I am so not excited for Imagine RIT, my business group has to present our idea for a consulting business and I have to be up and dressed in a suit at 10am on a sturday…

I knew you didn’t have a real job.

^^
That’s weird, the festival is supposed to be fun, and showcase innovation and creativity, not suits! Good luck with that :stuck_out_tongue:

I will be in the field house talking about the making of this dominoes video, and showing off some AI stuff I created for my doctoral research.

It probably would be fun if I wasn’t a business student, school of business = all business etiquette all the time, i’m not allowed to send casual e-mails to my professors, they all have to begin with a formal greeting and end with thank you for your time…fml

oh well maybe i’ll be wrong and it’ll be a blast, I can only hope

Marketing and PR buddy :eekdance:

Very cool.

So in about 3 days, we have just shy of 4,000 views on youtube, and it has been picked up by the local tv station, and multiple radio stations. RIT President Bill Destler loved it so much that he told Alumni Relations to send it out to the entire alumni email list, as well as the faculty and staff.

I am really proud at how well the video is being accepted. We entered it for a $600 dollar competition on break.com which we will probably not win, but it is up for up to $3,000 for a local competition.

vid is down for me?

I am running into that same error, but if you click the HD version (the HD button on the player navigation), it works. YouTube must be doing maintenance or something.

I loaded mid way and then rewound to the beginning and it worked.

That ruled!

What program was used for the man in the intro?

LOL, I really liked the printer…

Whats up with the little man at the beginning?

That’s RIT President Bill Destler

Very cool

It works HD

EDIT: and its a pretty neat vid
