Accident in need of the best body repair shops

yeah just got into an accident recently and was looking for some advice from you guys. I’m looking for a good body shop to repair my car. I would like to have a shop that cares about cars as much as i do. I’m a very picky guy so i don’t want no bullsh@t shop. I’ve went to alot of body shop previously and none of them were in my expectation. i will post some pics of my damages later but right now i really need your help. I prefer to have a connection to shops that works on show cars for events. I guess they should be more professional right? Anyways any help is appreciated.

Are you Wilson? The guy with Jantos’ old KA-T?

yeah that’s me

westport auto in mississauga does amazing work

old italian guys who restore corvettes

do you have a contact?

Yea, that’s gonna be tough, the rear fenders gotta be cut and new ones welded in, I don’t see how they can fix them as is. Did you get the motor running again? This is Antonio btw incase you were wondering.

yeah the motor is fine and i pretty sure they can hammer the dent out from the inside…that’s y i need a professional body shop that knows what they are doing.

no matter what needs to be done those guys will fix it, dont worry haha

i’ve seen crumpled frames in there turn in to mint showcars

i dont have a contact sorry - i only know where it is because the shop is owned by a guy i know who owns a motor building shop.

It’s in mississauga near dixie just off of shawson if you know where that is.

I’m sure you can find it online somehwere. West Port Auto Collision I believe is the full name, or something close to that… might be Westport… not positive.

found a link is this him?

thats it!

www.westportauto.ca

the owners name is now John, I’m not sure if he has other partners.

He’s a huge italian guy thats built some rediculous LS1 vettes…

they also have an 1800whp dyno right next door in the shop there and most days you go you’ll see some 800whp+ vettes dynoing – its always a good time

west port is sort of in the back but they have a nice big shop there and nice professional paint booth. the guys that do the work are these incredible old grumpy ass italian guys who look like they’ll be kicking the bucket soon but they do amazing work… all old school style without gadgets… just a hammer pretty much

hey thanks alot Jammin1911. from the pics they do look very professional… i’ll give them a call. Anyone else that knows a good body shop? i like to keep my options open

not a problem. the pics hardly do it justice you need to go see their operation and have the owner give you the rundown - it’s quite impressive

WILL WHAT HAPPEND!!!

All I can sugguest is if you are looking for the best:

I don’t think your willing to pay what they will quote you though.

Biggest and Best in Canada.

I’ll show you some of their work at t he CSCS Event if you come out.

^^ I wouldnt say they are the best in canada - they have a good rep but there are lots of smaller shops to can surpass the quality of their work

wwweeeelll…i did do Cahill’s car…

this is a little more then bondo and 3 stage paint.

Andrew.

U suck andrew

stay away from bondo / body filler/ fibreglass , even after 5 stages of paint , the car still looks like s***

for a professinal job go here ,

Paint-A-Car Collision
3197 Lenworth Drive
Mississauga, ON L4X 2G6

how do you think custom bodykits are made bro, …metal? maybe in some countries but not here , if i had $100k for a CNC machine then i would make kits out of urethane, Bondo is even used after metal work is done, and when you patch a spot of rust with a metal sheet, it will still rust.
just because u seen people make an ass out of thier cars with bondo it doesn´t mean i do crappy work.
and if you dont have nothing nice to say about my work then dont say nuthing at all, just grow up, find somting productive to do

Whats a place that does good paint and body work for someone like me who is on somewhat of a budget?
