Do you even need ftp support? Cant you go into the admin control panel and just upload the package?
IIRC, there are some files that need to be uploaded to the Vbulletin directory as well. that cannot be done just through the package install in the CP

Smf was incredibly easy to deal with, I do miss that. Even I could upload plug ins and I don’t know my FTP’s from SQL’s
Yeah and their new version 2.x is even better, that’s what I run SlideNY on.
On the grand scale I’m more happy with the vB, but if I had to start another forum I wouldn’t think twice about starting it with Smf, to build it up. Stats logging is much better on smf.
