Adult Vehicle?

My question:
What is considered an adult vehicle, and if one starts to modify this adult vehicle would it still remain an adult vehicle?

What the hell are you talking about, and why is your font so stupid?

Costs more than $15k or not available with a stick.

Such as a CTS-V or a used Oldsmobile, neither of which are kids cars.

Depends on the mods.

I’m just gonna put it out there… and assume he is talking about a vehicle where a mature individual would be driving.

sunfire = douche bag teen
M3 = Distinguished gentleman, unless its black then he’s gay

Or… If he’s talking about a car that will fuck you… Please let me know

what a stupid thread.

lol my old “adult” vehicle (not actual picture)

I prefer the term sleeper

definately a dodge shadow…you should get one

Why because you are rochester gift to racing and no one should have a car that you couldn’t race?

Heaven forbid someone wants something slow and comfy

:word: Nothing like a nice piece of tail…pipe.

Yeah probably asking about something with a mature image generally associated with it.

gonna have to say ford tempo again.

why are you asking nyspeed to define what an “adult vehicle” is?

fawk…

/myself

What is a cheaper than 15k that does not have a stick option?

I agree with cost more than $15k
But I am not sure about the not available with a stick?

So my CTS-V is not an adult car?

Definitely adult:
Minivans, SUVs, true family sedans (accord, camry, malibu etc).

Adult with spice:
BMW’s & Audis etc. Basically anything with room for 4, a comfortable ride, but above average performance. Something you could pick up an important client in from the airport and not worry about first impressions. My GTO would qualify except for the bright red paint and chrome rims. Little too flashy, which brings me to…

Borderline adult:
STi, Evo, Mustang, Camaro. Sure, you’ve still got room for 4, but the CEO you just picked at the airport may draw some conclusions about you that may or may not be fair.

Definitely not adult: 2 seaters, real high performance cars, anything heavily modded.

But all that goes out the window if you have 2 cars, one reasonable DD and the 2nd car being something extreme. I would never call Laughingas’s t-rex a kid’s car, part because of the price and part because it’s not like it’s his daily driver. It’s an adult’s toy.

EDIT:
Another case of nyspeed being douchenozzles to a noob. It’s in gen auto, it’s a thread that could spawn a decent automotive discussion, but people have to hate. I’d expect this over the winter when we all have our racing blue balls and are full of aggression but everyone should be out driving and mellowing by June.

Volvo

2007/8 Honda Civic Si Sedan is a good example.

You can put your wife’s grocery…and two baby seat on the back…

Ugh, I’ll go edit for clarity ya picky bastard. :stuck_out_tongue:

O RLY?

something with 4 doors, and more on the luxury side… like an acura tl, i would consider an adult vehicle, but with the 6 speed it could still be fun to romp around town in ( type s of course  )
