Aftermarket Gauge adapters

Ok, searched far and wide, including my thread about the water temp gauge.

Anywho I have a Mech. Oil Pressure, Elect. Water Temp, and Mech. Boost
gauge. (I know I don’t have turbo yet, but I will so there). :smiley:

Oil Pressure:
I know the sending unit is near the Oil filter and it’s a 1/8" BSPT fitting.
So I will need a 1/8" NPT to 1/8" BSPT adapter (Autometer #2269). I’m
sure Performance Improvement can get these but will any other place
have em? (Like Home Depot perhaps)?

Water Temp:
I’ll need a water temp sender, Autometer #2258, as well I would a
3/8" NPT to 3/8" BSPT adapter. And I would need some kinda T-adapter
if I wanna retain the stock signal…

Boost:
Don’t even know wehre it’s gonna go on the KA motor, so I might leave
that for a little later. :slight_smile:

Just thought I’d post this so I can get all parts I need in one shot rather
then going back and forth to the stores.

for the oil pressure you can alos get a TransDapt Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter form pdm… its in here http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/misc_tune.html $30usd +shipping. might be worth it

hook up the boost anyways so you can see it change very slightly.

its tee’s off the fuel pressure regulator.

Well I went to Perf. Improvements and got the #2258 Water-temp
sending unit, Plus the #22698 1/8NPT to 1/8BSPT for oil pres.

Would I need an adapter (1/8NPT to 1/8BSPT) for the boost gauge as
well?

for the boost gauge.
i got a pastic T and put in on the vacum line.
then i got some clear hose for CT and put the plastic boost gauge hose inside it (it fit very snug) then i clamped it and put silicon there.
so far no leaks.

For a Boost/Vacuum jsut T it off any vacume line after the throttle body.
