The first thing i noticed when I droe my car is that it is very difficult to heel-toe since the pedals are so damn far apart. YOu pretty much have to be Ronald Mcdonald in order to do it safely. I knew I would have to get some pedals soon. What would you recommend and should I install brake and gas pedal or just one or the other? Any thoughts?
I ordered Razo Pedals with the heal-toe pivot triangle on the bottom to easily heal-toe.
I have size 8 1/2 - 9 feet and have no trouble HT downshifting. Unless you have some really small feet I think you just might need to practice.
My feet stick out like a penguin.
Therefore i cannot heal toe, but i can do the side of the foot thing.
for your GF sake, I hope the myth about a man’s foot size isn’t true!!
I do the side of the foot thing too because my legs are too long and my knees too high to do HT. Using the sides of my feet, I can only overlap about one centimetre on each pedal so it is possible but like I said, it is very unsafe. Practice won’t do squat for to make my feet any wider.
I found that it’s impossible to do the “Initial D” style heel-toe in the 240s…
in my CL, that’s the only way i can reach the gas pedal and that method works great, but in the 240 it’s the easiest to just roll ur foot, and works just as well
