Air Conditioning & KA-T

Can it be done? Or would the compressor and it’s lines get in the way of the turbo/downpipe? Any other complications?

I have a '93 LE hatch with non-working A/C. The dealer is going to fix it for me, or we might have to “50/50” it (i’d be in around $200, nothing too bad). I do kinda want A/C, but will eventually be turbo’ing the KA, so if it would need to be removed at that time, then obviously I just won’t fix it, and have it removed now.

Any experiences/suggestions? Thanks.

The a/c may be in the way for your intercooler piping. You might also want the extra space in the engine bay, but I think it is possible to keep it if you really want it. You may have to relocate the a/c lines (custom)

Sorry for all the "may"s.

Yeah you can do it, it just eliminates the option of running a bottom mount Turbo.
