An interesting idea for a tool box replacement. I guess you would call it a cart. In any case, it was found by a gentleman on The Jalopy Journal. He found it at the Kalamazoo Air Museum where it serves their general repair man. Kind of a neat idea…
Pretty neat. I’m always trying to find ways to make my cart more useful and hold more tools, instead of having them just occupy cart space. This takes it to a whole another level.
I love having a cart so tools are near me but that would not work as I work on mine as well so I need a flat place to work . My last cart was tits I made mounts for a wrench rack. Sockets etc
I think vlads trying to point out rather then having a huge box to roll around by your side while your working on something… Or having to pick out tools to put on a small cart… you can have this “wall” that rolls, looks realitivly thin and won’t get to much in the way and is very easy to access right there rather then going through the drawers
On the other note thats a cool idea for a narrow roll cart, must work well for w.e. that guy uses it for, but like Jon said a line tech in the auto industry needs something a little different.
It’s not the heritage box , I have the heritage . Looks like it a lot actually lol but the heritage boxes have the Italian Chrome on the bottom droors , they also have a wooden " butcher block " top not the stainless.
Not trying to knock those setups they are great for home use, where you don’t want to spend bank on tool storage. The big dollar stuff finds a home in dealerships and what not, because you need easy access and organization and the ability to secure your tools when you go home.
Yep. When some asshole cock fucking price Watertown trash glued my lock shut on my Matco, it took a locksmith of over 50 years well over two hours to break into it.
I know. I got an huge Sears Ball-bearing in the garage. However I always find it handy to have a cart near by to put parts, chemicals, and most often used tools.
