i stopped by that day but your lazy ass was prob still sleeping, im sure most of you saw the ASS pics on fbook but here are the ones i took that day

Yeah I had a busy morning. Had to go to Balston Spa to get 2 welding tanks filled. Then had to go to metal supermarket to get some metal… then went to ASS. I got there around I dont remember when. I called in sick Wed. to get over there and work on the car. Got there at 10:00am and got cracking on it. Got everything 100% taken out of the car.

Its sitting at Darryl’s house right now so we can start burning the cage this weekend.

Here is whats left!

Ill have to stop by and check this out when it gets back in the A.S.S shop! Looks like its going to be sickk

Update.

Night one we got the main hoop in, roof hoop, the pass side door bar in. Next night we got the rear C pliar plates and pipes in, started on the other door bar and got some other stuff done. Only one small fire, we didnt need that inner fender liner anyways!

Last night we finished up all the tubing and most of the gussets.

Still have to plate the upper roof hoop junction point and add some small gussets and the restraint bar behind the seats. Then make up some brackets to hang the stripped down dash and that will wrap up the interior for a while.

youre nuts. its crazy how the event sparked this type of build.

Thanks dude! :thumbup

We were talking about it last night too. Its a big opportunity for us that’s for sure.

Side note, FAP worthy AEB will be at my door steps tomorrow. :excited

what are the cam specs on it? lift/duration is it the Schrick solid lifter setup or the Cat cams solid?

if you want to stay o2j/a start saving for that SQS dog 1-4 set that AutoXtrem uses :thumbup

its a Schrick solid lifter setup. I have the specs in an e-mail somewhere Ill dig them out when I get chance.

The pos box will get tossed together with the case mods and cryo’d internals to see how it stays together. I got a gear for cheap so we can see how it goes. It will be a good learning expierence to see how the ATP cuff and pinion support help out.

lift duration timing lift at TDC valve clearance

Upper roof hoop plates, drivers side harness bar, and a bunch more pieces cut and tacked up, ready for full burn in tonight. Should be ready to prime by the end of tonight.

The AEB head is in too! looks freakin sick. Anyone know how to properly check the lash? I need to check them all and re-tq the caps becasue they installed 2 new valves in it.

call 401-249-0595 and talk to Bob Quindazzi. i doubt he would have an issue guiding you in the right direction. its Bob of QEDPower

Word, thanks for the heads up.

Cage is done. Seats are in.

Engine bay is shaved. ABS is deleted.

Dash is mounted.

Steering linkage support built and welded in.

Dimple Dies brahhh

Door bars with bends in them aren’t legal at most tracks are they?
