Alignment shops

Okay, i know this has been done a million times, but im to lazy to search(headding out the door).

What shops in the area will align lowered cars with out running their mouth?

Any shops have a lift thats actually lvl with the ground and I dont have to drive on a ramp? I bought full coilovers and I am going an inch lower, i think thats going to make it a bitch to get on ramps. With my lowering springs I dont think the shop i got aligned/inspected at last year had a problem, but to be honest, they run their mouth alot reguardless.

Willing to drive anywhere in the pittsburgh area(North/south hills dont matter)

 Waste of money

Theres a place on rt8 that can do lowered cars… I forget the guys name but he’s pretty good and wont give you a hassle about your car being lowered. I’ll try to find the name for you.

I think the place was called Franks Alignment .

When you find out will you post it here. I am interested in this as well.

i work for ntb in lower burrell most of our stores can do low cars my si is very low and i do alignments on mine all the time just try to find a place with a newer alignment rack if you need someone to do i can and wont give you shit for it

You know NTB on Rt 51 did the Probe. I’m sure they would have no problem with your car.

We can do lowered cars… my guy is like 65 and definatly hates doing them… but he is one of the best I have seen… he has done nothing but suspension / chassis all his life. Used to work at Shumans (I think its in Elizabeth) for most of his life and came to work for us like 5-7 years ago. He has aligned Sheehans Sebring drag car, etc… You must have a camber kit tho…

My coilovers have camber plates built into them for front adjustment… I dont have rears tho, I may look into whats up here in north hills first.

Franks Affordable Alignments on the Shaler/Hampton border on RT8. Check with him, he’s a nice guy.

On Hondas sometimes you can shim the rear’s, but you want to do it right… get the rears, no reason to do it 1/2 ass.

He doesn’t have a Honda, he has an srt-4. I drive the Honda :bigthumb:

oviously… im just saying the rears might be setup the same way as a honda and since he said he didnt buy the rears thats what I assumed he was going to do, shim it… which I wouldnt do if you dont have to.

THis car is retarded, it has such wierd characteristics from the factory alignment wise. I had posative camber right from the factory, even with the lowering springs on it it didnt have much negative camber in it. wasnt more then a degree if I remember the print out i threw away lol.

Either way i have another problem, the rear endlinks I had are too long, have to find the shorter set… fun.
