Alignments that won’t ruin my rims?

I am looking for a local shop to do an alignment on my Camaro. But I have been told that a lot of alignment shops have machines that may dig into the rims. I do not want this. Any shops that you may know of that won’t scratch up the rims? I want to set up an appointment this week.

BTW, they are 18" Billet wheels.

11 year old car that has seen some winters, and hasnt had an alignment as long as i’ve owned it.

works for me http://smiliesftw.com/x/dunno.gif

A friend of mine told me of a fellow car club member of his that is a manager at Goodyear on Sheridan. $65 for the laser alignment and no damage to the rims.

Geez i think we got that on 15 year old F150’s and that included moving the frozen up BJ cams on the twin I beams

Joe if he puts some tape on the wheel where the align head mount to the rim it wont damage it

+1 licatas is the shit

Any decent mechanic should know how to set up the sensors for the rack, I work at westherr and my shop has adapters for custom rims so the sensors clamp on to the tire instead of the rim, talk to them first see what they have.

lol, I’ve paid upwards of $250 for a perfect alignment and corner balance before. Went out for drives with the guy doing it, tweaked settings, and knew it was PERFECT.

dude… you can got to firestone and they list LIFETIME alignments for $179, but you can get them down to $119 and if you wanted to you could have it aligned with every oil change for as long as u own the vehicle( like i do with my jeep) They will give you the print out to show that your car is set to the right specs too.

just a thought…
