Good job guys! Saved me from doing the work! haha!
This sounds like fun I should have my 260z running by then and I’ll show all you guys some ol’ Z power!
See all you guys there~!!!!!
How did you luck out and find a 260Z? Pics? Specs?
My Brother’s got an 1983 280ZX Turbo (2 seater) and it’s prtty quick (it’s got the L28 motor). It needs some tranny work though so it prolly won’t be out.
wow 1qwickspecv…you’re g/f has an MC-S14 like me but mine is black with no tint. Is her’s 5 speed manual as well?
Hmm, …maybe i might go to this event. I’m not much of a racer, but i’ll bring my moms Z32…or just flip and coin and see if i should bring mine or hers haha. Hmmm scratches head it will be a toughy!
It would be something nice to do since my birthday lands on the 25th of june anyway
Whats your girl done to her MC-S14?
Yeah hers is a 5-spd aswell.
She’s planning on lowering it soon. Prolly Eibach Pro-Kits. Also pricing out rims and a body kit (probably just a front and rear lip since fitment is better)
Should look sweet!
this post is for Original Nutta who asked me about my Dastun 260z. I picked it up at a car auction in toronto last april and have been working on it as much as possible since then. it’s got a stright six 2.8litre from a 280z non turbo and it’s rated at about 300hp. this car turns heads!! I’m really looking forward to letting it go down the strip on the 19th!!! you’ll have to wait and see it then!
See it??? I wanna be in it.
I’d also like to see it on the track, not just the dragstrip. What mods have been done to it so far? Any suspension work? Last but not least, PICS?
Thats awsome! I’ve always liked the 260’s.
I can’t wait to take a look at her in person. I’ve only ever seen 2 others on the road. Talked to a guy in Oshawa that had one, was fully restored also and looked awsome. They are a head turner
You’ll see more than a couple 260Z’s at the track. Ontario Z-Car is planning to attend.
yeah, we’ll be there (z car club) we’ve got a tournament planned for the day you guys should be quite impressed by the turnout. as for my 260z the guy i bought it off of built it for a racing series he was quite involved in back in the late 80’s early 90’s so it’s been fully gutted and redone. it’s got everything from a full tokito suspension setup, to everything you could probably imagine done to the motor! it’s got a 1987 300zx rear end and a full roll cage!. the body is probably the worst part on the car but next winter the whole car is going to be stripped and painted, my dads got a bodyshop in waterloo so i’ll be taking on this HUGE job it should be fun though. as for pictures, you’ll just have to see it in person!
This is next weekend folks! Hope to see you out represtentin’!!
What time does this meet start and end?
$15 for as many runs as you can get in, or each?
Its as many as you can do. I would also like to konw the times… thanks
St. Thomas jacked up their price to $30 to race (as many times as you can) and the time is 10-4. Also…you can run from 6-10pm for $20.
OK! Not one 240 showed up…
oh well…we had fun without you!!!
