my car is about 300hp and runs 12.8s, this thing will rip.
and will probably beat a lot of cars even in stock motor form, with h/i/e/tune

So today i feel acoomplished…Had the baby shower this weekend and that tied me up pretty much all of the weekend. but i did manage to get a good amount done.

I got the D16z6 motor pulled and sold it to a member on the board.

After getting the motor out, i started work on the engine bay,
got all the orginial mounts in the engine bay out.
started to drill out the passenger side mount,
Will take out the rest of the automatic shifter lever, install the walbro fuel pump, and install theswap mounts
Thats for tomorrow, then awaiting more parts to install.

and i must say i cant believe im doing it outside with no garage lol…fuckin a

And with every step foward theres got to be a backward step,
The passenger side lower ball joint were gone so taht needs to be fixed.
the rotors were warped and pads needed to be done so why not do them lol

Got alittle things done today,
Drilled out the passenger side mount…that was a bitch.
Changed out the power steering hard line.
Mounted the rear hybrid-racing mount

Got alot more parts.
DC-Sport K swap headers
K swap Axles
Stainless Clutch Line

The downside to this day…Cant get the studs out of the mounts on the k20…i got to figure that out any suggestion 1 out of the 3 came out easily, the other 2…didnt…i tried vise grips didnt work nothing to grab on to.

Little Update not much,
Sent back those horrible Hybrid-Racing Mounts
Ordered my Brand New Hasport Mounts

Got the studs out of the mounts on the motor and tranny. PIPE Wrench works the best!

Half Shaft
Hasport Radiator Adapter

but still awaiting on some very important part…motor mounts an dconversion harness

i got around to installing the new oil pan and also installed the walbro fuel pump.
took off the civic exhaust mounted the RSX muffler

So as soon as those mounts come in i will have the motor in…then it can really start rolling.

I will get kpro down the line, I will have immoblizer bypass for now.

10k was the total cost of my build so far, including paint, suspension, lsd, and a brand new 5th gear set. the cost of the swap itself was less than 4k and would be about5k with kpro. the other went to the car itself

what numbers are you expecting? how long do you plan on keeping this for?

do you miss the mustang ever?

I’m honesty not looking for any kind of numbers. If I can do under 14sec in 1/4 miles I’m happy lol!.

The only thing I miss about the mustang was the convertible aspect. it was my first car payment car so I don’t miss that hahah

Should move out pretty good when done.

I got some more stuff done, rotors, pads, and ball joints done
the ac and raditor brackets been moved to the driver side.

Can wait to get the mounts so I can get the engine off the engine lift.

why the switch to hasport? i loved my hybrid racing mounts

Saxon, I was gonna go hybrid but the mounts I got were older style and I got a decent deal on brand new hasport mounts. So it was within price lol. Are u running a the new style/design hybrid racing.
