Thermostat did open but i have a new thermostat just in case.
Car runs excellent for 30 miles then axle broke this is the 2nd time it broke. so im going to go get the DSS Axles as they are longer which i what i neeed.
I have had the RSX Type S with B-Series Outter and just the RSX base Axles in and they are both too short. So i went in ahead and ordered my DSS Stage 0 axles as im not going over 250whp as its my daily stock car.
I might have to sell it due to the fact that we just had a baby and there is no more room for a toy car.
The car does feel more powerful and better running after the thermostate fixed and the iacv cleaned out
The surging problem was of a sticky iacv btw.
i justed ordered DSS Stage 0, I havent tried third combination lol rsx swapped inner with b series outter. i given up after the 2nd try and the grease/time taking them apart!
It does skoot for its own good. feels nice and smooth power
Higher rpms is where the power is at.
My first test drive when i broke the shitty cheap junkyard axles it felt very slow because it was idle surging
But once the DSS Axles came in and install and idle surge fixed with coolant bleed it ran 1000x better and faster.
iVtec is amazing and sounds great at 6200rpm.
If the car is tuned with K-Pro I think is will be 10x faster but i have spent already to much money on the build.
Brit said the baby was up from 3am to 8am but vtec in this car is extremely loud and the car pulls nicely. You just need an exhaust that’s bigger than an inch lol.
