I didnt know what the highway patrol ones have done to them. The one that messed with me had some kind of high pitch sound from the engine. But it wasn’t that loud so I thought maybe it was N/A. You always hear old dudes saying those things are all modded and you can’t smoke one. But who cares even if you waste one they just radio for help.
oh for christ sake they arent modded barely at all. They have single cam 4.6L Mustang engines that are probably putting out 300 at the crank. That might get a Mustang into the low 14’s, but a Crown Vic is a boat compared to a Stang… plus all the extra equipment in there like radios, cages… They arent fast. Its not like the cops are gonna try and pace you if you get up to 150mph. The suspension and motor are made to be comfortable up to 120 or so I’d imagine. Remember, 90% of the people they chase ARENT in souped up race cars.
And as far as radioing for help, it depends on where you are. If you’re out in the boonies, the next nearest state cop could be 30 minutes away.
