It looks cool, but that 22 story club house seems like overkill.

Looks awesome in CGI at least, and that layout on paper is way more exciting looking than that proposed track in Central Square, NY.

Pretty sweet, but you know how these go. Very few get to the actual groundbreaking.

Stop with your sad and depressing reality. I’m in my happy place where new tracks are opening in Syracuse and PA.

If this indeed did open it would have to pretty much kill monticello’s potenital memberships, maybe then they would have to open that back up to the public then for events.

lol

Reading more this is going to be private club members only as well so meh.

From what I’ve read “construction” started in '08 and;

On August 25th, 2011, Alpine has won its final battle in the courts and with it, the war. A deal was reached with the town that there will never be any sanctioned racing events at Alpine. The emphasis at Alpine is private driving enjoyment by its members. Final permits and approvals are now in hand and the construction will soon be under way.

I’m sure MPD47 can fill us in.

They have car club rental on the annual schedule so they are probably planning on renting it out to PCA/BMW club etc.

Actually, I know exactly… zero about this track. Never even heard of it till now.

oh, nevermind, you can delete this thread now. Unless one can set-up unofficial grudge matches, I am sure I can beat a Yellow FD in those last five turns of the downhill.

It’s down the street from the Lehigh Tunnel.

Word, there’s a great microbrew with some fantastic beer/cheddar soup in that area.

Bethlehem Brew Works or something of that nature.

Looks pretty nuts.
