Saw this yesterday, looked great!

Probably the best looking/modded cobalt i have seen.

thanks doods!

also…you are probably the guy who has the most project threads for the same car! :rofl

good shit…nicely modded…

that pic from 7/2 is sickkkk.

wanna shoot the MR2 on sunday or monday?

Thanks.

Shoot me a message on AIM and we’ll figure out a nice spot to take some automotive-related photographs.

Lookin’ good as always.

Why’d you pay for a 2.5" SS cat-back and keep the stock muffler? The muffler’s inlet is 2.25" and the stock cat-back is already 2.5" to the axle…

The stock exhaust was bent from an accident.

I hate loud 4cyl exhaust noise, so I just kept the big donkey dick muffler. lol. I guess the Dynomax Super Turbo is quiet but it’s probably louder than OEM and that would just annoy me.

Best of both worlds?

I want it quiet when I step on it, too. It’s already pretty loud with the OEM catback exhaust.

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…

These cars sound like SHIT! I don’t want to amplify that sound. :rofl

Mine sounded good on the M62. It’s all about using the right components.

I definitely think mine sounds good w/ the 3071 now, lol.

I know, I know, I’m biased…

The header gave it a deeper tone.

I thought it sounded like shit on the 1st test drive. lol

car does sound like bawls…but is hella comfy!

love the projector retro!

How do you guys get away with no cats come inspection time?

Most aftermarket test pipes come with an extension for the 02 bung, almost like a defouler. It pulls the plug out of direct flow and tricks the car into thinking there is a cat. I’m running a high-flow cat in my setup and still have to do this or else I’d throw a code…

Not the same application, but to give you an idea:

Well, it still passes the visual inspection because if a tech looks under there, technically the cat is still there. There’s just nothing in it. :lol

I have the catalyst efficiency codes turned off in my tune. Wa-hoo

Is the second picture down, first of your photoshoot, is that telling us you cannot handle your car at thirty miles per hour, and are now off the road?
