I figured its about time to upgrade the measley 60 amp stock alternator and have it rebuilt to atleast 80 amps or so. Are there any shops in the B-lo area that rebuild/upgrade alternators?
I know a place in Rochester called like Master Car care that rebuilds them for like 80

Can’t remember the name but in North Tonawanda right across from where flannigan chevy used to be. He rebuilt all our starters and alt’s in our trucks at the shop and he is great on prices.
Dell Electric rebuilds them. They are on Camp rd/Lake st in Hamburg.

why rebuild it, rather than just go buy an 80amp alt for it from a shop?

No one makes a higher output alternator for MKII supras. There is hardly any aftermarket/performance parts for the 1st and 2nd gen supras.
