danno take it to dell electric on lake st in the village of hamburg. they’ve rebuilt both starters and alternators for me in the past, they do good work at a fair price :tup:

What’s the difference between having one rebuilt and simply picking up a rebuilt one from autozone or rockauto?

Broadway in Cheek. between Dick Rd and Union…it might be called D&W Diesel I am not sure…ut they rebuild auto elec. components…i had an alternator done there

d&w diesel is on broadway and they do nice job we send all our industrial starters there

I tried the hammer trick, nothing, I think the solenoid is fine, just the brushes

So I bought one from advanced put it on, turn the key and the one I bought was no good.

Should have taken it to get rebuilt.
