Am I in the Wrong?

Probably not the most responsible to go out drinking when you have to work the next day, but people take sick days for all kinds of reason. Me, I have to be damn near dead to waste a sick day at home. I have a desk job, so I figure I might as well be sick there as sick sitting here at home.

What screwed you was not calling. If you’re going to miss a day take the responsibility of calling in yourself. You might as well have asked mommy to write your boss a note saying your tummy hurt. Welcome to the real world.

Because of you the elephants didn’t get to do this today…

They had to use charcoal, and as we all know elephants:

  1. don’t like to use charcoal because the dust gets in their trunks
  2. suck at drawing with charcoal in general

Thanks.a.lot.

hahaha

:word:

Who works the day after their 21st birthday?

My boss, “So how many days do you need to recover? Three? Four?”

you should have called yourself. and next time, take off the day after your b-day’s if you plan to “party it up”

from a responsible standpoint… yes… from a realistic standpoint… what you did was normal and not calling was an honest mistake… fuck em… everybody has slept in late before or called in sick before to … regardless of the reason… he’ll get over it for sure

sick time is your time to do with as you please. whatever you do stick to your story, say you planed to came in but you were so sick that you never woke up, or that you tryed to call and no one picked up the phone. say it will never happen again.

Ah.

Making excuses is just another way people put themselves above the rest of the world as though they are “better” because they never make poor decisions.

no call no shows will often not only piss of your boss, but sometimes even co-workers. especially when they’d have to cover your shift on such a short term or work a longer day. definitely a huge

yeah, you should have called yourself. Sometimes its hard to do, but its the right call.

You know now
