Finally fixed the 1.5+ year misfire issues (trigger errors)! Huge w00t!
Also repaired a broken wire which was causing one taillight to not illuminate. Rather then fixing it I just pulled out the bulb on the other side and have been rocking it like that forever. Meh. Glad it’s finally fixed and I can use my rear fog light again!!!
Some detailing will be performed in the next few days in preparation for Carlisle. I am also having the front seats and steering wheel dyed/touched up.
Well I changed three things at once so in not 100% certain which one thing fixed it but here is what I did:
1: I replaced one of the two VR sensors ( one that reads the tdc pin on the flywheel)
2: I modified the bracket that holds the two VR sensors allowing the tdc sensor to be closer to the flywheel (more over the top of the pin)
3: adjusted the distributor (used as a cam ref only) so that the hall effect window was exactly lined up with the tdc pin.
Solved. In all honestly I think what fixed it was moving the sensor more over the top of the pin. When the flywheel was resurfaced the pins are usually removed and chances are the shop put the pin back in too deep. It’s not supposed I be bottomed out in the flywheel. It was easier to move the sensor in closer rather the pull the pin out some.
Finally pulled the trigger on a vanity plate for the 200. I’ve wanted one for quite sometime however I just couldn’t come up with something clever enough for my liking. Tonight I came up with this and found it to be fitting enough to order. I HATE that the plate will now be orange but oh well.
Here’s the plate:
Quattro = Audi’s AWD system
T44 = the 200’s Chassis code
Here’s a pic of the new coilover setup I’m building (most of it):

Should eliminate the epic squattro situation. 550lb rears and 450lb fronts.
I’ve also got a rear sway bar on order. This should help the car substaintially as the 200 didn’t even have a rear bar from the factory at all. Between the stiffer springs and the sway bar I think this car will actually handle very well (for what it is). Can’t wait to see. Also replacing subframe bushings too.
Thank you sir! I am certainly happy with the results! The car was pretty damn consistent too. Ran 5 times starting at 12.1 @113, 12.1 @114 12.0 @ 114, 11.99 @ 114 then the 11.94 @ 115.
