Well the process has begun. Vuk at AMS was kind enough to chronicle the step by step process. He’ll be updating me as we get into the thick of things.

Vuk will be going for a Canadian record and an all out record on the stock (built) auto tranny. The AMS manifolds are supposed to be ready in 7 to 10 days, so that’s cutting it close. Vuk will be doing all the other parts prep work while the engine is being done at the machine shop. Things like new SMIC’s, CZP 12.75" BBK, rebuilt/painted calipers, powder coating the plenum and valve covers etc, just to name a few things.
