Best GTA Rebuilders

Hey Guys,

I’ll be sending the block in my car to be rebuild in a few days with some performance parts for some serious power.

Does anyone have an idea of some good engine rebuilders in the GTA? I’m building a VG30DETT block and I’m looking to do the following:

  • Wiseco Pistons
  • Eagle Rods
  • ARP Rod Studs
  • Block Inspected and acid dipped
  • Block redecked
  • Block water passage bored out for more water to back cylinders
  • Block Bored and Honed using a Torque Plate
  • Crank center weight tig welded into place
  • Crank balanced to 50%
  • New Moly Coated Race Spec Main bearings installed
  • New Moly Coated Race Spec Rod bearings installed
  • Block prepped and assembled

Did you speak with AMS? I am sure they could provide you with some great info… If not handle the build themselves.

Hey Church,

I talk to Vuk (AMS) a lot and have bought quite a few parts from him. I have everything set to hand over to him and get it started, but I feel I can shed $1000 if I find a place myself. Vuk says $3G for what I’m looking at. I’ve sourced out all the parts totalling in $1000 and I figure labour won’t be more than a $1000 as well. Vuk actually sends it out to an outside rebuilder, so he is really just a middle man with a markup. Of course, with years of knowledge to back up the work done to the motor.

I can’t wait till I get it on the road with the new build. I have newly purchased turbos (bigger than the ones I’m selling in the FS thread), injectors, tunable ECU, dual MAF, bigger Rad, Bigger Intercoolers and a few secret weapons that people with similar builds will constantly try to figure out why they can’t touch me in performance.
